    In a musical spin on the ever-popular Sampler sessions, we welcome three singer-songwriters back home, and onto the stage.

    These artists all spent their formative years in Tāhuna-Queenstown, breathing the cold winter mornings and honing their craft under mountain skies painted orange and purple. Indie dream rock artist Sofia Macray brings her sweet, layered sound home from Te Whanganui-a-Tara; previous guest of The Sampler Violet Hirst joins with her folk-adjacent lyricism and Tom Maxwell, brilliant instrumentalist of local legends Killergrams, contribute alt-country energy to the line up.
