Sherwood Presents: A Berry Nice Morning with Theo
Berry good news.
We’ve given our berry bushes their winter prune, and rather than let the cuttings go to waste, our gardener Theo’s been busy turning them into new plants to share around our wonderful community.
Got a spare patch in the garden? Dreams of berries on your breakfast or homemade jam? This one’s for you.
Come by Sherwood courtyard on Saturday 3 October, 9am–12pm, and take home a potted redcurrant, blackcurrant or gooseberry cutting, plus a few tips from Theo to help it settle in and grow.
Stick around for a tea or coffee while you’re here.
No need to book. First come, first served. Koha welcome, with all donations going to Queenstown Harvest Community Gardens to support their community pantry this coming season.
Can’t make it on Saturday morning? Theo’s keeping a few extra cuttings aside for planting. Get in touch and we’ll save you one.
See you there!
